About the Artist: Jack Ohman
Pulitzer Prize–Winning Cartoonist
Jack Ohman has spent more than four decades using sharp wit and expressive brushwork to lampoon power and puncture pretension. At 19, he became the youngest nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist in U.S. history, launching a career that has taken his work to hundreds of newspapers, including The Oregonian, The Sacramento Bee, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
A Pulitzer Prize winner and recipient of the 2026 Herblock Prize, Ohman is widely recognized as one of the leading voices in editorial cartooning. He has also authored ten books, bringing the same insight and humor to the page that have defined his work for decades.
